Every open driver seat filled in about a month. Then they switched the ads off.
Recruiting CDL-A drivers is a lead-gen problem with a different buyer. One page, built to be read in a cab at a truck stop: the pay in the first sentence, the actual routes with their shifts, and a form that takes sixty seconds. Google Ads put it in front of licensed drivers looking for work.

Behnke had more freight than drivers. Loads were being turned away because nobody was available to haul them, and the work lost that way ran into the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Job boards were not producing CDL-A drivers fast enough to close the gap.
Behnke asked whether ads could reach CDL-A drivers directly. We built a single hiring page that answers a driver's questions before it asks for a phone number: pay first, routes and shifts by name, a sixty-second form. Then we ran Google Ads aimed at licensed drivers looking for work and sent them straight to it.
Every open seat was filled. A little over a month after launch, Behnke paused the campaign because there was no one left to hire. The page stays live for the next round.

“Good CDL-A drivers are the hardest hire in trucking, and we needed them in four markets at once. GoLumin built a page that talks to drivers the way drivers think: the pay up front, the real routes and shifts, and a form you can finish from the cab. Inside three months, every seat was filled.”
to fill every open driver position
- 01
Pay stated in the hero — $80,000+ on dedicated routes, $100,000+ regional — not buried in a job description
- 02
Named runs with their shifts: Rochester IN to Three Rivers MI, two round trips a day, drop and hook
- 03
The same six-field form at the top and the bottom of the page, because a driver decides at either end
- 04
A CDL-A yes/not-yet toggle that sets expectations before anyone spends a phone call
- 05
Turnstile on both forms, and click-to-call for the drivers who would rather talk than type
